HISTORY

Athletics gave me more than something to do after school. They gave me confidence when I didn't have it, friendships that shaped my life, mentors who believed in me, and a place where I truly belonged.

From fifth grade through high school and eventually into coaching, I've seen firsthand that sports are about so much more than winning. They build character, teach resilience, develop discipline, and create a sense of belonging. They help young people discover not just what they're capable of, but who they're meant to become.

But along the way, I also saw something that never sat right with me.

I watched talented, hardworking athletes miss opportunities, not because they lacked passion or ability, but because their families couldn't afford the rising costs of participation. Uniforms, travel, training, and equipment became barriers between kids and the sports they loved.

I believe opportunity should never be determined by what a family can afford.

That's why I founded the X Athletics Foundation.

Not just to support athletes. Not just to fund programs. But to create access.

Our mission is to break down financial barriers and create opportunities through scholarships, community programs, and eventually facilities that make athletics more accessible.

I want the next generation to experience everything sports gave me: the friendships, the confidence, the lessons, the challenges, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than themselves.

Because every athlete deserves a chance to play, grow, and belong.

Passion is everywhere. Opportunity should be too.

With gratitude,
